A fan coil is a heat exchanger with a fan that runs on hot or chilled water from a heat pump or boiler. Unlike a radiator it warms a room in minutes and can cool in summer, which makes it the natural partner of an air-to-water heat pump. We offer wall, floor and ceiling-concealed units with low noise levels.

A fan coil reacts in minutes and cools in summer but has a fan and a little noise. A radiator is silent and needs no power but is slow and heating-only. With a heat pump the fan coil is the more efficient choice.
On low speed modern models run at 25–30 dB, comparable to a quiet air conditioner. On maximum the noise is noticeable, so units are sized to run mostly on low.
Yes, in cooling mode condensate forms and must be drained, as with an air conditioner. Heating-only use needs no drain.
Heating
Air conditioner or heat pump for heating: which pays off
Air-to-air (air conditioner) versus air-to-water heat pump for heating a home – differences, running costs, when each one wins and how to decide.
Heating
Heating with an air conditioner in winter: does it work and is it worth it
Heating with an inverter air conditioner at −15°C and −25°C: what to check (SCOP, output at −7°C, hyper inverter), when it beats electric, pellets and gas, and how to use it right.
House
Air conditioning for a house: sizing a whole floor and choosing the right system
Cooling and heating a house: separate units, multi-split, ducted or an air-to-water heat pump. How to size an 80–120 m² floor and what each solution costs.
