What air conditioner installation costs in 2026
Installation decides how well and how long an air conditioner works, so its price should never be a surprise. Here is our public tariff by capacity and everything a standard installation includes.

Standard wall-unit installation
The price depends on the unit capacity and includes mounting the indoor and outdoor units, a standard pipe run, vacuuming, commissioning and set-up.
- 7,000 – 15,000 BTU: €178
- 16,000 – 24,000 BTU: €204
- 25,000 – 36,000 BTU: €230
- above 36,000 BTU: €255
Multi-split systems
Multi-split systems are charged separately for the outdoor unit and for each indoor unit; every indoor unit includes 3 linear metres of pipework.
- Outdoor unit 18,000 – 35,000 BTU: €76
- Outdoor unit 36,000 – 60,000 BTU: €102
- Each indoor unit: €127
When extras apply
Extras apply for pipe runs beyond the standard length (per metre, by capacity), for work at height with special equipment, for additional wall openings, longer electrical runs and the removal of an old unit. The full price list is on the installation page.
Delivery
Delivery with our own transport to the Central Bulgaria cities is €40, and with a delivery + installation order it is free – included in the installation. Pickup from our Gabrovo warehouse is free.
What to check with other installers
A cheap installation often skips steps that later cost a compressor. Ask:
- Is the line evacuated with a vacuum pump (not "purged" with refrigerant)?
- Are copper pipes of the right gauge and insulation used?
- Is there a drain slope and a dedicated circuit breaker?
- Is an installation document issued, as the warranty requires?

Is installation included in the unit price?
No. Catalog prices are for the unit; installation is added per the tariff above by capacity.
How long does installation take?
A standard wall-unit installation takes 2–3 hours. Multi-split and professional systems take half a day to a day depending on the number of units and runs.
Do you install units bought elsewhere?
Yes, at the same tariff. The unit warranty, however, follows the seller's terms.
