When is the best time to buy an air conditioner
Air conditioners are seasonal, and seasonality works against the buyer who waits for the first heatwave. A few weeks of earlier planning mean a lower price, the full catalogue and installation on a convenient day.

March–May: the best window
Importers announce new models and promotions on outgoing series, warehouses are full and installers have free dates within days.
June–August: the peak
Demand multiplies in the first hot week; popular 12000 BTU Japanese models sell out and installation waits reach 2–4 weeks. If you must buy now, choose from stock and book installation immediately.
September–October: the second chance
Cooling season ends, heating has not started, and current-year stock is cleared. The best moment for a unit that will also heat: installed in October, it works all winter.
November–February
Quiet months with promotions on heating models. Winter installation is possible; the cooling test is done in heating mode when it is below 15°C outside.
